Jeff Harms has been performing comedy since 1979. A graduate of the University of Denver with an M.A. in theatre, he began with an improv group called Chicken Lips, and continues to perform with another, Plastered in Paris, out of their home base in Denver and around the country. For two years Plastered in Paris was the in-house improv group at George McKelvey's Comedy Club in Denver, performing seven shows a week.
In 1982 Jeff started doing stand-up comedy, and tours with this nationally as well. He has appeared with the likes of: Paula Poundstone, Roseanne Barr, Yakov Smirnoff, Louie Anderson, Sam Kinison, Pat Paulsen, Ellen Degeneres, and Richard Belzer.
Jeff was 1990 National Semi-finalist in the Johnny Walker Comedy Competition in Chicago.
When not on the road, Jeff is a noted teacher of Improvisation, Stand-Up and speaking skills at various public and community schools throughout the Rocky Mountain area. In addition, he has appeared in many commercials on both radio and television. He has also been seen on Diagnosis Murder with Dean Koontz, and Phantoms with Peter O'Toole.
